Great pools and very close to Eagle Beach. We booked a one bedroom suite with a kitchen and it was nice to be able to cook some meals at "home". The room is stocked with all of your basic needs. There's a giant grocery store within 5 min walking distance to the hotel where we got amazing pineapple chicken skewers and cooked on the hotel's grill. Uncle Tony's bar makes amazing cocktails, so if you like to drink, definitely give them a go! The staff was also very helpful! Alvrindra at the front desk was great with our checking in and also helped get us late checkout. She seemed the most knowledgeable of all of the staff members. Pablo, the bell captain, was also very nice and helped us store our luggage while we hung around until our flight. I never got our housekeepers name, but she did an amazing job cleaning our room every day. She was so kind and professional. We stayed in room 3516 from June 7th 11th, so I hope she gets some sort of recognition for her great work!

We enjoyed our stay at Eagle Aruba Resort. We were happy to find a supermarket within walking distance. While the pools and the beach were close and great, many of the restaurants and shops were a bit far away. My husband and I could easily walk to the downtown area, but in the heat, it was hard for my children aged 6 & 8 to walk that far. The cabs are cash only and can be quite expensive. I highly recommend renting a car for at least part of your stay on days you plan on touring. We found some nearby restaurants that were pricey but delicious. Catch, Red Fish, and Asi Mi Peru were great. We went to Flying Fishbone. It was an amazing meal with a beautiful sunset view. It was a $40 cab ride each way!

The overall suite with the balcony was beautiful. I live in NYC and recently moved into a micro (studio) apt., and the suite's kitchen was three and half times the size of my apartment. Needlesss to say, I knew I would be cooking some to time while I was there. Cooking is one of my happy places. The Jacuzzi was wonderful, as was Uncle Tony's food and the entertainment each night. The Staff was amazing, nice, affable and efficient. The DePalma Tour Bus Guide: Maykle, was amazing. I liked the information he imparted as we passed between stops.

I like that the bar by the pool had a good selection of drinks and happy hours were enjoyable. The restaurant near the hotel was spot on, good food this time and better than the foods from outside the resort. Friendly staff, good prices and helpful on room accommodations.

The location was the highlight of the hotel! Just a 4-minute walk to Eagle Beach and the Super Food store—total game-changers. Since the resort isn’t all-inclusive and dining out wasn’t in our budget, we made full use of the in-room kitchen and stocked up on groceries from the nearby supermarket. The pools on the property were fantastic, and we loved having access to their grills (just make sure to reserve ahead!).
